Anxiety & Panic Attacks

Anxiety can range from very mild to severe. However, anxiety affects you the good news is, you can overcome it.

Anxiety can affect people in so many different ways, it might be in the way of upset stomachs, headaches, nausea. And it can even bring about other illnesses as your body tries to create something for you to get you out of that social event.

Have you ever noticed how you suddenly are too ill to go to a certain event and then by the time said event would be over you’ve magically recovered? Yep, you can blame anxiety for that.

Panic attacks are a more severe side of anxiety. Whilst it may feel like you are going to die whilst having a panic attack, it is reassuring to know that no one has ever died from having one. It can be particularly distressing to experience a panic attack.

However, you will be pleased to know that there are many different techniques you can use to interrupt the pattern of behaviour of a panic attack. If you address the root cause of the panic attack (most often this is only known on a subconscious level) then you can even completely stop them.

By using hypnosis and NLP techniques you can begin to understand and resolve the underlying issue and then know that you have the tools in your arsenal should you ever need them.

Anxiety is a problem that affects many people from different walks of life.  Even those that we think have it all.  Often anxiety can seem to come from nowhere and the effects can be alarming from shaking and sweating to stomach cramps.  For some people it can keep them stuck at home, stop them from driving and is often the reason why people cancel plans at the last minute. 

I know how it feels to have anxiety because that used to be my story.  I had anxiety and panic attacks so bad that I had to have an ambulance called.  Doing something as simple as going shopping was an impossible task for me.  I would bail out of social plans at the last minute on account of a mysterious stomach bug that struck an hour before and mysteriously recovered by the time that plan would have ended.  I didn’t understand what was happening to me.  I wanted to do things, but when it came down to it I just couldn’t.  The thoughts of all that could go wrong would race through my mind, catastrophising every single thing.  When I had hypnosis, my whole world changed for the better.

This led me to where I am today, using a fusion of Hypnotherapy and NLP I help others overcome their anxiety and panic attacks.  I help my clients to reset their negative thoughts and learn how to relax. I teach my clients tools that can help them everyday so they become responsible for their well-being rather than needing to keep coming back to me on a regular basis.
