There are 3 different types of insomnia. Type 1 is where you can’t get to sleep, type 2 is when you wake up in the middle of the night and type 3 is when you wake really early and can’t get back to sleep.  If you are in the type 2 category, I recommend you see your GP first to rule out any medical issue.

Sleep deprivation can lead to so many different symptoms such as:

  • brain fog
  • lack of concentration
  • emotional outbursts
  • feeling irritable
  • headaches
  • gastrointestinal problems
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • daytime fatigue
  • poor eating
  • lower libido

As many as 1 in 3 people struggle to get a good nights sleep.  We should be aiming for around 8 hours sleep a night, of course as individuals we are all slightly different, but we know when we wake up feeling well rested and ready for the day that we have achieved a good nights sleep.

Over time, a lack of sleep can begin to impact your health. Issues such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease have been attributed to a continued lack of sleep.  So it really is important to get help, if insomnia is something that you struggle with.

How It Works

1. Book your strategy call.  Its a 30 minute call to discuss your current sleeping patterns.  Here we determine if you are struggling withwhat type of insomnia you are struggling with.

2. Attend your appointment(s).  We will use various approaches depending on the plan that was personally created for you.  We may use hypnosis or we may use NLP.  Here we work on changing the subconscious behaviours and patterns.  

3. Get back to enjoying a good nights sleep.  Use some simple strategies to ensure that sleep finds you and stays with you the whole night through. zzzzzzz
