What is “Sleeptalk”?

The Goulding Method is a natural process that takes you only two minutes each night. Doing this builds the brain’s firewall which protects and empowers your child against daily negative programming e.g. violence on TV, bad news in tabloids, celebrity influence, bullies, strangers, teachers.

The process is about developing a child’s emotional intelligence, resilience, the mind’s firewall which protects against negative suggestions; much like a firewall on a computer protects it from outside interference and damage.

This training is suitable for any parent, grandparent, caregiver to attend.

Beryl Comar MA, MEd., MNLP, DipTEFL is a trainer of The Goulding Method of SleepTalk for Children, personally trained by Joane Goulding herself.

• Acceptance into the Level 1 course is for everyone: parents, and those wishing to continue to consultant level. It is an evening online seminar with practice.
• The Level 2 & 3 support program “Become a Consultant” is offered to professionals with qualifications and experience in an appropriate field of the ‘helping professions’, e.g., Clinical Hypnotherapy, Health Care, former teachers, NLP Coaches, Communication, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Naturopathy or Counselling. Current membership of an appropriate, relevant health related professional association is required.

This 6 month course of study will take place over zoom in 3-4 hour segments – plus a members-only global group for consultants and interns.  The training  consists of  seminars, structured discussions, exercises and practice covering 24 hours of practical training and offers overall about 120 nominal hours of learning.

Participants are encouraged to start with clients immediately after taking the initial level 2 modules.   These first 3 clients become your case histories and part of the assessment structure for you to become certified. Ongoing support will be offered via 0ne2one sessions with Beryl

Why would the Goulding Process of SleepTalk® be a great addition to your practice?

Parents become a huge part of this Goulding Method, and the shift occurs for them as well. As a consultant you may never see the child, as you primarily educate the parents and carers.

 What are the basics of SleepTalk® for Children?

No children nor family has exactly the same needs, or relationship styles.  We begin with a foundation for the parents to say to their children in their sleep and then through assessments,  we create an individual statement plan for every child.

How does one become a SleepTalk Consultant?

Competency is assessed throughout the 6 month course and includes workshop participation and written project-based case history documentation. Graduate Consultant’s certification allows the holder of that award to establish their own Goulding SleepTalk® practice, and they can apply to be registered on the International Goulding Method consultant’s website.

Consultants are required to attend minimum 75% of live trainings, complete all assignments, and to accept, agree and sign the Professional Ethical Standards and Code of Practice of The Goulding Method.

Upon satisfactory completion of the Goulding Method of SleepTalk® training- Levels 1, 2, 3.  you will be able to:

• Analyze the framework of the Goulding SleepTalk® method.
• Discuss the rationale behind the use of the Goulding SleepTalk® method.
• Describe the basic considerations and assumptions of the Goulding SleepTalk® method.
• Identify, discuss and analyze the ‘Legacy Tree’.
• Discuss the therapeutic approach to resolving basic and primary issues and identifying brain wave frequencies.
• Identify different brain wave frequencies that occur throughout the sleeping cycle.
• Evaluate the relevancy and explain the Goulding ‘Top Hat’ theory.
• Discuss the ‘RAS’ relevant to different brain wave frequency.
• Develop a communication template objective.
• Assess the appropriateness and application of specific suggestions.
• Describe the ‘Foundation Process’.
• Evaluate the relevancy and analyze SleepTalk® feedback statements.
• Apply concepts and principles of waking suggestion and the rationale for presenting SleepTalk® each night.
• Outline a frame of reference which will provide the desired changes in behavior.
• Distinguish appropriate suggestions.
• Formulate specific content of the ‘SleepTalk® Foundation’ script.
• Propose and implement a process which integrates desired changes of behavior in a child.
• Formulate specific content of the ‘SleepTalk® Primary area on need’ script.
• Propose and implement a process which will provide desired changes of behavior in a child.
• Describe how psycho-nutrition affects the relationship between the body and the mind and its relevance to a child’s behaviour, levels of stress and/or anxiety.
• Marketing information and materials on how to build your SleepTalk Consultancy Business

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course and the receipt of all assignment requirements, a certification as an accredited Goulding SleepTalk Method for Children Consultant will be issued with an invitation to apply for your profile to be registered with the Goulding Consultant website.

Course includes registration fee for Joane Goulding analysis of your case studies analysis, final accreditation and 1st year profile on the International Consultant Website.

Students are required to attend the online training live.

An internet connection and zoom access are required for this training.

There is a 14-day cooling off period, which begins the day you purchase the course whether in full or part. After that no refunds will be given. If you book as last minute (less than 14 days before course begins) the cooling period does not apply.

If the training is affected due to illness of the trainer an alternative date will be rescheduled. A refund will be offered to those who cannot attend the new dates.

Please attend your training on time. There will be opportunities for breaks throughout the course.

You will require your video and microphone to be working as we like all delegates participation.
